My approach is collaborative, individualised and grounded in respect for your identity and experience. My role is to work alongside you to help facilitate and explore your voice and your communication, that makes sense for you as a whole person and your gender identity.
Vocal change takes time and our vocal identities change over time - I see my role to help you know how to start your journey, or be a refresher, on how to explore and embed your authentic voice safely.
My service offers:
The focus is always on exploring voice and way of communicating that feels authentic, sustainable, and true to you.
I provide a space where you can explore voice and communication in a way that feels safe, supportive and free from expectation. This work is not about achieving a specific outcome or fitting into a particular idea of voice — it is about discovering what feels personally authentic to you.
I work with people of all gender identities, including trans, non-binary and gender-diverse individuals, and I aim to create an environment that is affirming, inclusive and responsive to each individual’s needs.
I have specialised experience in working alongside people who are gender diverse and have had a wide variety of goals for their voice and communication. I value you being the expert in your own relationship with your voice and gender identity and have the expertise to help facilitate this exploration safely, always being guided by you.
I have previous experience working in NHS commissioned Gender Identity clinics and I have a certificate in Professional Certificate in Core Capabilities in Clinical Practice for Adult Gender Identity Healthcare.
I am also neurodivergent, and I embed neurodiversity-affirming practice throughout my work. This includes recognising and valuing different communication styles, sensory preferences and ways of processing, and ensuring that sessions feel accessible and adaptable to you.
In sessions, I will:
